I finished a 4 day workshop with the legendary New York photographer Jay Maisel on Sunday. It was fascinating to have the opportunity to hear him speak about his work and his 50+ year career. He's incredibly articulate, charming, the consummate New Yorker and makes for a great teacher. He was very generous and open and I'm still in awe. :) His workshop is called color, light and gesture and was terribly inspiring.
