The annual wedding issue of Photo District News Magazine is out. I am beside myself to have been chosen one of the Top Knots for 2008! Their annual contest is entered by photographers all over the world and one of my favorite photos was selected in the CANDID category. I took this photo at Stephanie and Kevin White's wedding last April at Newcastle Golf course. I geeked out when I saw these brothers, Zane and Weiland entertaining themselves before the ceremony.

PDN Top Knots 2008

Last September my trusty assistant Erinn and I had so much fun shooting Tylor and Xcinia's wedding on Eastsound Orcas Island in the San Juans. Not only was it visually stunning, not only were Tylor and Xcinia (and their friends and family) soo gracious and welcoming, but their wedding was very eco-concsiously planned. I loved their commitment to reducing waste and yet still having a magazine worthy wedding. You can see the full story in the current issue of Seattle Metropolitan Bride and Groom.
